Sara Minado

Sara Minaudo is the founder of the American Art Glass Studio which specializes in hand painted, original, one of a kind, "reverse painted", fine glass chandeliers and table lamps. Sara is inspired by the Catskill Mountains where she has lived for over twenty five years. Her work is sought after by private and institutional collectors throughout the Unted States.

Ms. Minaudo creates stunning depictions of the natural world. Her creations with animals, delicate botanical and grand Hudson Valley landscapes are done entirely by her hand alone. Each unique original piece of fine art is lovingly and painstakingly created in her studio. Beautiful at any time of day, they sparkle with incredible brilliance when illuminated. Evan the smallest lamp will be the centerpiece of any home, office or commercial space.

Chandeliers as large as three feet in diameter are regularly commissioned for large estates and elegant commercial applications.

For over six years Sara has worked as a painter and designer for Ulla Darni Studios which has galleries worldwide. Ms. Minaudo's oil paintings and pen and ink drawings have been exhibited in the Soviet Union, the Woodstock Guild and the Brooklyn Museum.

Sara is the founder of the Green County Council of the Arts Mountaintop Gallery and is one of it's first curators. In addition to her fine artwork, Ms Minaudo's illustrated books include "The Old Eagle Nester by Doris West Brooks and "The Girl Who Couldn't See" by Raymond J. Steiner.

Sara studied fine arts at the Brooklyn Museum School, the School of Visual Arts, Bard College and the Woodstock School of Art.

Sara lives in the Catskill high peaks town of Hunter, New York.
